Addy McGowan
A Charlotte native, Addy began riding at the age of four and quickly developed a passion for hunters and jumpers. She grew up competing on the local C circuit with BRHJA, SCHJA, and NCHJA, while also showing on the USEF A circuit. In high school, she joined her local IEA team, which later led to competing for High Point University’s IHSA team. Serving as captain during her junior and senior years, Addy gained leadership experience alongside competition success. During college summers, she worked as a groom on the A circuit and later moved to the West Coast to train at a top show barn. Now based in Wilmington, Addy combines her professional riding, equine care expertise, and love of teaching to help riders succeed.
