What Will Students Learn?
Students can learn the fundamentals of riding in English and Western disciplines, including Dressage and Jumping. Students will also learn basic horse care including grooming, tacking and untacking.
Do You Teach Jumping?
Yes, we do. However, students are not required to jump to be in our program. Horse jumping skills are intermediate to advanced skills and are a progression of riding after many basic skills have been mastered.
What Should Students Wear?
- ASTM/SEI Certified Helmet*
- English Paddock Boots with or without Half Chaps; or Tall Boots
- Breeches, Jodhpurs, or Riding Tights
- Riding gloves (form fitted)
- Hair tied back & out of the face
- No jeans, sweatpants, baggy clothing, or long jewelry
- Western riders may wear cowboy boots and jeans
